Onion Custard

Ingredients

Amount Ingredient
1/4 cups Butter, Without Salt
3 large Egg
1 cups Milk, lowfat 1%
5 onion Onions, sweet, raw

Steps

1 Peel onions and cut each onion into thin slices.
2 In a large skillet, melt butter and saute onions over low heat for around 20 minutes. Set aside and allow onions to cool.
3 In a large bowl, crack 3 eggs and pour in 1 cup of milk and whisk together.
4 Mix onions into the bowl and mix thoroughly.
5 Grease a square baking dish then pour in mixture and distribute evenly in dish.
6 Place dish in preheated oven and bake at 325 degrees for around 40 minutes or until onions turn golden brown.
