Ingredients

1 quarts, 1 cups Water
1 tablespoon Butter
1 clove Garlic clove
4 stalk green onions
4 medium Plantains, raw

Steps

1 Peel plantains and slice into 1-inch pieces.
2 In a large pot, bring water to a boil then place plantains in the pot and lower heat to medium-high.
3 Cook for about 20 minutes or until most of the water is absorbed.
4 Place plantains into a large bowl then add butter and garlic (minced) to plantains and mash.
5 Garnish with chopped green onions and serve.
