Asian Snow Peas

Ingredients

1/4 cups Water Chestnut, Sliced
1/2 cups or slice Carrots, Raw
1 teaspoons Cornstarch
1 teaspoons Sesame Oil
1 cups Snow Peas
1/2 cups Chicken Broth, low sodium
1 tablespoon Soy sauce, low sodium

Steps

1 On a nonstick skillet heat oil over medium-high heat.
2 Add snow peas and carrots then sauté for 2 minutes.
3 Add water chestnuts and broth and bring to a boil.
4 Cover, reduce heat, and simmer for 5 minutes or until vegetables are crisp-tender.
5 In a small bowl, combine soy sauce and cornstarch and stir until cornstarch dissolves, then mix into vegetables.
6 Stir over medium heat until sauce thickens.
7 Serve immediately.
